All I need is a location for the small vacuum hose that goes from the shaker base thermo vac sensor to the engine.

There is a T-nipple it goes to. Here is where to look for it.

Picked up a 73 SD Formula. I think it was once owned by toomanybirds? last 4 of the VIN is 3805 .I'm looking for history on the car.

One thing I wanted to add for anyone down the line looking for a replacement Car Quest pull-off is to note the box it comes in. If you look at the box I posted above that's facing up and note that blue band on the bottom of the box with "Carburetor Part" in it is the one to look for. They sell/sold one with a red band that I've noted on a couple had a very slow action when vacuum is applied or released.
