Is there anything else out there to use for free other than Flicker? I used my Hotmail address and they don't like that and won't recognize it. I can't get into the account I created. I guess that's why they wanted me to create a Yahoo email account. And I will NOT!
Make sure you right click the "Image location"
The HTML you want is NOT the same on begining and end .
Here it is again . [IMG] and at end we have a SLASH as well....> [/IMG]
Slash at end inside the bracket, and Before the IMG.
Here is a pic from wikki , I copied the Image location, and then added the Hypertext ( HTML) and its here ! already a great size, no Thumb

Default Here's my go-to...

Sorry I don't know how to post a link. I use a service called Postimage.com. it allows you to select the size of the image, copy on the hotlink for forums and paste directly into the body of your current post. I'm such a computard that if it's easy for me, it should be really easy for most of you. Stan.

another test. Just uploaded an image to an album I created in my User CP and
copied the BB code. Could have also copied the url and inserted [img] and [/img] before and after, respectively.

If you intended to post an image in that post, it's not there.

rats, it shows on my computer when I'm signed in, but not when I'm not signed in. I guess I'll stick to copying the image from the uploaded thumbnail.

How many can see this pic?
I could see the image initially, but not now. It may be that Google 'randomizes' their URL's after a certain period of time to prevent hot-linking. Back when Yahoo Photos was a thing, that is what they used to do.

I see none Greg. I only have Photobucket at this time.

I'm looking for a site that lets us use the img tags if we don't want to add a photo as an attachment.

Bruce, I do use the [img] and [/img] but nothing shows the the "fail bomb". I'll try again.....

Didn't work either way you suggested.

nor the Email and IM tag

How do you get your uploaded photos off Photobucket? I've tried and nothing happens...... copy, save as, nor save photo. I'm going to clean out what I want to saved to reuse.

That gave me an idea so I logged out of my Google account, thinking that maybe I would not be able to see it but I can.

You're not going to be able to embed anything from PB Gary. You can right click on your photos there and save them to your machine though.
As far as the HTML codes that formulabruce was explaining, it does work exactly as he described.

Here is an excercise for you just so you're confident that you're doing it right. You can copy a photo from this very thread and place it into your post.

1.Right click on the image I posted below (from Wikipedia's site)-
2.When the small window opens, LEFT click 'Copy Image Address'
3. In your new post, place the mouse cursor where you want the pic to appear. RIGHT Click on the field. LEFT click 'Paste'.
4. Place the HTML tags [img], etc. on each end of the link that appears. Don't forget the '/' in front of the last IMG.
Done.

Greg I can now see the Silver Streak just fine.

Your sig is not showing Greg.... unless what The Boss is showing in his attachment is what your new sig looks like.

Like I said....'weird'... I can still see my sig pics. I just shed both of them. No one wants to see a bunch of European 'Do Not Enter' signs...in B&W yet!

Greg go into your User CP and set up your sig photo. You can upload it from your computer. That's how I do mine.

You mean from your PY photo-album? I had not thought of that.
