Whats the intended usage?
Where is the need for this product?
What will it do that a cheaper Victor or Worrier wont do? (other that actually fitting without remachining, unlike edelbrock products) (8*-)
Any quality product is welcome in the Pontiac world.

Firstly, cheaper is not always better. That said, I do not know where you buy your Victors or Warriors, but they are more expensive that what we hope to bring this in at.

As earlier posted, this manifold (out of the box) will move enough air to feed a 300 cfm head, is a single plane with good low end torque characteristics, will provide good throttle response, will enable the use of both the 4150 and Q-jet carbs...all while fitting under the hood of a second gen Trans Am.

My votes are for "Chief Street" and "Arrowhead" so far. I like the "Chief" moniker because you can apply it to other stuff, like "Chief Race," et cetera.

I like the Chief thing too, but I think it should be the other way around "Street Chief" or "Race Chief".

Is there a prototype of the intake? Or are you using a heavily modified intake to base the new one off of?

I like the "Arrowhead" name as it is a tool used to kill the enemy. Chief, Warrior or whatever is what we think of our car or maybe even our Big Bad Self as being(LOL)

According to many, the Street Dominator is/was the best flowing street manifold ever produced. Rodney Butler ran a modified Street Dominator on his 9 sec "street" car with a spray bar built into the plenum. Much of the new intake is being based upon the Street Dominator with many improvements like the removal of the heat riser/egr passage to keep the air charge cool...and of course larger runners that flow big numbers.

This is going to be a killer street/strip intake that will enable one to utilize a Ram Air pan on either a GTO or Firebird, and it will allow the T/A guys keep the shaker.

You all have come up with some great names. We are keeping a list...

We can't wait to bolt the prototype to our test mule engine and make some pulls...and with the soon to be released new aluminum 290+ (out of the box) D-port head bolted up...
