If your applicator turns red from paint, it does NOT have a clear coat on it. Thats shows that your are pulling paint pigment off the car every time you polish it.

Liquid Lustre is good stuff. It puts a polish on so good that a towel will not stay on your hood. I use it on my 63 vette with lacquer paint and my goats with base coat clear coat. Simply awesome!

do i have to clay the car even though its brand new? i put only two coats of gold class on it |

From what I've read you only have to clay the car if you felt you have a lot of grit on the paint surface. They suggest to put some plastic wrap, like Saran wrap, over the surface and then feel with your hand. If it feels smooth then you shouldn't need to clay your car. Of course I believe you should wash the car with Dawn to remove the two coats of Gold Class before you start the Zaino process.

GOT WATER SPOTS form my well water!! Rain water did not leave a hint of spots. Darn garden hose rinse-down was a mistake.
