I had a toggle switch for my line lock, but it was a no brainer. Couldn't mount it in the handle of my Winters shifter so I put it next to it in the "console". Aircraft style with the red flip-up safety cover. When cover was down, you knew the switch was off.

Why would someone bracket race instead of heads up???= Probably a mater of preferance

I'm running a Hurst button handle on a Megashifter. I wired up the nitrous and the line lock through a 3 way switch. When the switch is in the middle position, the button is disabled. With the switch down the button engages the line lock. With the switch up the button opens the nitrous solenoids. The line lock turns on the brake light and the nitrous turns on the Fasten Seat Belts light.
