JSchimtz, He does seem to be receptive to ideas, but he also works for a corporation that in all honesty doesn't want to invest much more in the place. I would have pits on both sides of the track. The staging lanes would be next to the track (at a reasonible distance, but nothing else in the way like grandstands!) with the stands higher up and above the level of a pickup and enclosed trailor. And yes, the staging lanes would be a just let it roll to the burnout box style!

I think a message board that is readible from the pits on both sides would be a huge benefit. Big events it is way too easy to not hear your class called up.

Even at weekly events sometimes if you are not parked under the speakers, there will be no way you know you are up. And the just listen to your radio thing, it is so low powered that even half way out in the pits at gateway, there is no reception! I've heard the speakers before hearing anything on the radio! Not at my track idea would I want it like that!!!

I'd also have tunnels under the track for easy safe cross overs. They would extend out to under the grandstands so there is no safety issues if a car got way out of shape.
