First time I have posted on the board in a while as I have been busy prior to the Easter Holiday at work and during the Easter Holiday with my family. I have Ford Monday off so I might post on a couple of Race questions (leaving the carb questions to Shaker).

As far as Chief Bigbob's comments, I have a couple of questions:

1) You agree the carb was not right when you sent it to me?

2) You agree that I added other parts to the carb and did not charge you for my time or the parts?

3) You agree that I paid the shipping out of my pocket and you did not pay anything to have the carb looked at, updated, and shipped back to you at no cost, so the only bitch you have about the deal was that I did not meet your time schedule.

4) You did send me a note saying that the customer's block was hurt, cracked lifter bore, therefore would not the assumption be that the engine would not be running immediately?

I did the work, changed the parts, shipped the carb out all on on my dime and you still bit*h. Most could understand why I say, who needs this aggravation.

Have a nice day.

Tom V.

ps I have not left the PY Board, so KMA David.

Wow....Tom I still owe you a few bucks, as it had slipped my mind since all of this moving Fiasco at my place....which I will send to you this week :P
I tell you guys, Tom has always been straight with me and done excellent work on 2 or 3 carbs for me and I have been super pleased.
I was wondering if it was me that set ya off Tom, I didnt think I complained too much....maby asked too many questions some time but never rally complained....I know how life interfers with other hobbies most of the time....Oh I still have not got to test my Top Shot Nitrous Kit yet....but carb is working well still, aside from the cold starts with no choke tower and 40 degree weather heheh........Hope to see you back posting more Tom.....Not to mention when Im ready to do my turbo deal again, which will be within the next year or so since Im getting a new House and New SHOP

No, you didn't say that this time

"I will be taking no future carb work from any member on the PY Board."

The statement in qoutes above is what I was refering to. I did not say you had left the boards. I hope you stay around. But you need to get you "ass" off of your shoulders.

Don't look over the edge of the pedestal you've installed yourself on. You could fall off.
