screamingchief, you're right 99.997% of the time and not at all wrong on this. I do think the summit/wolverine cams are somewhat smaller but how much would be hard to say. Especially for a average shmo kicking around in a land yacht.

Ahhh it's cool,I'm just giving those cams a hard time here,I understand they fit certain applications,and they certainly fit many folks budgets,we use what we gotta use sometimes.

It's just the drama that comes out at times can be hard to comprehend.

Yeah,I just feel folks should look at those summit cams on their own merits and not those of the "similar" OE cams.

I do feel the summit cams favor lower compression combos compared to the OE cams.

And the 455's dont really need "tiny" cams to make big torque in the lower RPM range,as they do that in spades whether you want them to or not!
