Installed the package tray and sail panels, the side headliner lace is being a pain. Also put the dash, interior and tail light wiring harness in.

I remember reading about your problem in that regard a few weeks ago. I have the same problem with mine...Put it in place and it stays...The next time you look at it, it's hanging down.
I've thought about doing something like making a dimple with a soldering iron every few inches inside the groove of the lacing to make it sort of a swaged interferance fit...but this is such a minor problem considering where I am with my car, I haven't looked at it much.

Thanks Greg, I used a pliers with tape wrapped around it to squeeze it together, it's staying in place but I still have to get the area where it curves by the quarter windows.

Got the door and quarter interior panels reglued, cleaned and installed also put in the back window and chrome moldings.

Looks good! You do know that your panel gaps may change once you put the weight of the engine in the car. Is the engine in the car yet?

Thanks, no engine or trans yet, they will be about last to be installed. I want to get the interior done first.

Nice! Never get to see the front/rear side panels side by side like that (due to seats being in the way)...

Thanks, I was going to put the back seat back cushion in but it wasn't dry yet after I cleaned it with Simple Green and rinsed it off with water. The lower part where it is hog ringed in place got wet from the water running down it. I'll put that in next and then time to put dash back together.

Looks great Eric. You are getting a little bit ahead of me. I have my headliner in along with the rear shelf and back seat. My dash is heading out to Just Dashes next week. I have my new door panels and carpet/underlayment here. Need to install them. Also the windshield and other glass.

Next time I run up by Tomah I should stop in and see yours in person.

BTW, did u install a 140MPH speedo?? I had swapped out my 120MPH for a F/B 160MPH on my H/T...never quite understood why '69 GTOs only came with 120MPH while 6 cyl F/Bs got a 160MPH

Thanks, I bought one of those dash caps from PY, it looks decent but the grain pattern is bigger then the vinyl. I also cut out the part that goes around the guage pods as it took away alot of the detail in that area. Bill your welcome to stop by if your in the area. robz, the 140 mph speedo was in it when I bought it, also has a indash tach, from the factory was a clock. The whole interior was swapped out from dark green to black except for the steering wheel and column by a previous owner.

Rear seat, seat belts, carpet, shifter, console, steering column cover, ash tray, glove box and glove box door installed this weekend. I work about ten hours a week on this and it seems to go together pretty good. Still the most tedious tasks are cleaning, looking for parts and tools. My garage is a mess.

Eric, your carpet looks great. How did you get it to lay so tight. I hate mine (one year old) I am thinking of taking out the seats and a redo. Again great job.
