I too, am in the process of wrapping up a very similar combo. 4.390" bore, 4.580" stroke (Molodex billet with offset cut rod journals to 2.100") 555 ci. 8.95:1 with 100cc CV-1 CNC'd cylinder heads. Tunnel ram base with a front mounted 1700 cfm throttle body. Solid roller, T&D shaft, CNC lightened IA-2, etc. EFI with a Procharger. All I can say for now.

Whatever happened to this engine ? Forgot about it, sb reminded me of this engine, thanks. Seems 900 NA pump gas with E heads has already been done.
It was 2010 and everyone was having head gasket issues on high CR engines. Must have been before Cometics made a Pontiac head gasket. He changes to pump gas at only 15-1 because of gaskets not lasting.
Then there was a blown engine by Barack spoken of. GREATGTO hinted he would be the first to 1000 NA pump gas power with his 572 CV-1. Whatever happened to him ?
McQeen's Procharged 555 with CV-1s, with LSM lightened IA2. Sounds badd, what happened to it??

Great numbers. Clearly the C12-93 Octane produced more peak HP. But interestingly enough they both produced peak torque @ 5500 RPM and the Pump gas produced 5 more lb-ft of torque / 5.3 more HP.

This is the engine Scott wanted more info on so I brought it back up. Stan asked something about it too. Impressive numbers for sure.
