Thinking about and it does not really bother me. I celebrate Christmas, I would say most of the people here celebrate it as well as all the people that are important to me celebrate it. So who cares if corporations want to pander to a minority that just want to whine and moan about something that is supposed to be joyus. Let those people be miseralbe complaining all their lives about things that are silly and missing out on life itself.

even if its not true you may want to tell them part of the reason is no Christmas spirit

I told that to a woman that got all snippy about seeing Merry Christmas on a sign in front of a store. Also told her if she didn't like it to keep her mouth shut or go back where she came from. And for that..... I got a standing ovation from a bunch of people around me. True story.
If I was there I would have stood up as part of that ovation. Good for you. We need more people to do this.

Considering how America has changed in the past few years, maybe it's appropriate that the bank takes the lead of the govt....

A sad comment on our country.

For those of you comforting yourselves with the right wing parrot talk of Liberal blaming, I'd be willing to bet if you could find the senior executive at BofA who is responsible for this policy, he's likely a registered Republican.

As you were.

I call BS on the entire thread.

The BOA's in this area have Christmas trees, are playing Christmas music and have decorations out.
If it's happening it's the locals in your area, not corporate.

I refinanced my house through my bank Midfirst. They own Midland Mortgage. I had a home loan with them previously and were great. I had a month before my first payment. Got a letter in the mail 2 weeks later saying Bank of Amerika had bought it. Arrgh!

Friggin bail out taking losers! They also seem to cater to illegals around here. There's a bunch of them. Nothing wrong with Mexicans, most around here are hard working and family oriented. I have friends in construction who cannot compete with them due to them not carrying ins., bond, workmans comp, etc. Fortunately they haven't got into the HVAC business much here. We are pretty strict on licensing and being insured in the trades including electrical and plumbing, or my business would be hurting more than it is already in this economy. Rant off! Didn't mean to go off on this tangent.

Just a point of contention for all of you x-mas pushers... there are two holidays during the "holiday season," and one of them is not Christmas. Saying "Happy Holidays" does fit just as well as "Merry Xmas," and it has the added bonus of covering both holidays so you don't have to say, "Merry Xmas and Happy New Year."

Regardless of that, Christmas is a great holiday, even if you're not celebrating the (incorrect) date of birth of some guy who died almost 2,000 years ago.

I guess South Carolina hasn't been hit buy the "political correctness" movement. If you want a good dose of this trash..... come on out to California...
