A little farther along. Not much gets done with my work schedule and bouncing between multiple projects. As soon as we wrap things up on my father's 67' C10 - we'll back the Lemans into the shop and seperate the body from the frame. A decent amount should start happening then.

Having an off the frame experience...

Expecting to have the frame all restored/rebuilt and the main body in paint by this fall.

Removed the 350 2bbl/TH350 yesterday, installed four new bushings in the upper control arms this morning.

Got the top and sides of the frame painted today. Hope to be able to post pictures of an assembled chassis with the engine and transmission installed by the end of this month.

Maybe your past this point already but the cinder blocks holding up the the front of the body can EASILY fail the way they are set.

Keep the updates coming, I always love seeing pictures of a rolling chassis without the body.

Spent a few hours on it this morning, plus had to shuffle a few vehicles to free up the bay.

Having a facepalm moment... this car was originally a TH350. We have replaced that with a ST10. The driveshaft is too long. I should have checked into that long before this stage. Looks like it needs to be at least an inch shorter.

Had a day off, so Chris (the previous owner) and I helped my father get the body back on the frame.
