And as far as screwing a set up, I don't think Gaby would screw a set up!
I had plans to send a set to him for a max effort nitrous motor for the eighth mile heads up class that I locally run. Where most run high 4.70-5.20s. It would have been nice to get a set and show the Ford and Chevy boys what a Pontiac could do!

Jack has the deepest pockets of anyone I know.

So turbos are allowed now? I mean why not? Everyone keeps saying heads up means run what ya brung right? Let em hang right? You bring your warped heads, bring the heads from the secret shop, bring all the parts out of the trailers, and anywhere else someone may have a set of super double throwdown heads that don't work on stock Pontiac blocks and let in blowers and turbos that do. Lol.....

Sorry, I'll go back to my hole now.

In other words, if you have a rules based heads up class....ie naturally aspirated only.... Than you are obviously looking for a certain type of car or et range....so banning unconventional heads is very reasonable and in fact the norm. If you ain't gonna let em hang and do it heads up for real, than why allow unconventional heads?

It would be nice to have an eighth mile heads up power adder race at Norwalk.

John, John, John,
Those are just numbers and letters to me they mean NOTHING.
Never said my car was better I just would rather and not afraid to run the !/4 mile.
WHY run the 1/8 when you are at a 1/4 mile track unless………………….! YOU tell me.
I happen to like my 8.15 169MPH Duck Tape Bracket car that ONLY needs ONE driver (thats is also the crew) and I can DRIVE to the staging lanes, down the 1/4 mile and DRIVE back PASS after PASS after PASS! Thank You very much!!

All I know isKRE came out with the Warp6 and there was a lot (not all) of bad talk about the head............typical KRE bull sh_t and the rest is history. The Pontiac Community (PY) basically killed the head............NOW they are whining about it not being for sale anymore!

I have never bad mouth the Warp 6 head.

With your great computer knowledge, why don't you back up your statement with some facts!

Wasn't pointing fingers at anyone person BUT its just a fact. Warp 6 came out it was and is the best and or best flowing head out there plain & simple! Got bad press and few racers showed interest and the rest is history. Too bad, I'm thinking a similar thing happened to the CV-1. Except the warp is a better head but never the less.

I don't recall any real negativity on the Warp 6 heads (other than maybe the few chronic KRE detractors).

The concern was the all in conversion price (IIRC estimates of more $15k) without some proven track times. I think now that KRE and the Picketts have successfully run them, more will step up.

I think that 40 sets, to the segment this appeals to, is prohibitive. But a dozen "real" interested buyers at this point wouldn't surprise me.

I don't think the first run was 40, so smaller runs must be possible for the right price...maybe the $4k for bare castings gets it done.

George you're always going to have some Pontiac people upset about any head that doesn't resemble a factory head.

Every member that is after performance, or understands what it takes knew the Warp6 head was the head to beat.

Like I've said many times before, you could give away $100 bills and a few people would bi*ch about it.

I think in general there are a few who would just as soon have KRE go out of business all together.

That is what most of the badgering posts are about.
Anything to discredit them.
The Warp 6 is probably a fall out from that.
(not much money in selling them, they did it mostly for themselves basically)

Like I said, they do whatever it takes to make Pontiacs perform.
Some just don't like it.

Now why doesn't John M make his heads?
He seems to keep posting about how great they would be?

No, they would rather criticize people that do 'walk the walk' and not BS all the time.

While I have had a very disagreements with John, I have no doubt that he could design a clean sheet of paper new head that would be excellent. But John is in business to make money. How many people here would buy his heads if you needed new pistons, camshaft, valve train, intake, exhaust, and even new valve covers? It is all about ROI
