I heard the same from my wife when I came across, and eventually bought my Safari last year. I told her, well, I didn't buy it for YOU, soooooooo..... got the whole front seat to myself

Not looking pretty in this photo when it was dropped off by the truck back in 2009 and propped up on blocks but my 67 Bonneville 428 convertible was days from being parted out and needed to be saved. Found out its most likely the only Verdoro green 67 Bonneville convertible ever built as well as the most loaded too, only option I wish it had was the HO 428. The options go down to the bottom of the window sticker and I was lucky to find two build sheets. It was built for the 67 Minneapolis Aquatennial Parade and thanks to a PY member, I spoke to the man who prepped it new in May of 67 so its documented too. Its a long term resto project and I have gathering parts slowly since 2009. One day it will be finished.

I could take it off your hands if you ever decide to stick with GTO's. Hope you're doing well my friend.

Wow. I've always preferred the '68 model year but that '69 can set in my driveway anytime. I like it a lot.

Up close on the odd looking 69 tail. I got lucky in that the car was rot free and hit free. Original bezels were nice (just needed the black and silver re painted. I found both tail lamp lenses NOS for dirt cheap (unlike NOS Gto lenses).

Car was missing all the original protective side moldings (replaced with a roll of plastic chrome to hide the clip holes. I managed to round up two NOS and 4 used ones, all of which had to be dyed the correct brown.

This is the only photo I have where you can really see the expresso brown at its best. Car was a crappy 80's caddy candy red, nice to see her back in her original color, the interior is gold leather.

The interiors of these 69's are a weak spot, the look and quality of materials used on the dash compared to the mid 60's is disgraceful, looks like a Nova dash.
In fairness to pontiac this was a GM thing, I had a 70 Eldorado and it had an equally crappy dash despite being the most expensive car GM made.
