I went on Saturday skimming for parts. It was great weather for the event and was fun looking around. I asked my kids if they wanted to go and my daughter's response was "if I want to look at old cars I can just open the garage door".
I noticed the issue with slow sales too. The economy is still soft and despite Hagerty's projections for 2014 prices still seem to be flat.

It appeared to me it was a very old repaint, but original looking in many other respects. It's an interesting car. I would have guessed it went through a time when it had been parked for many years. Was also a 4 speed.
There were some real nice full size cars and a few early Trans Ams. It seemed all I had to do to draw a crowd to a lonely car was raise my camera. Lots of cars I did not get pictures of because of that. I'm pretty sure the white '69 was a RA4. The white '70 was one of the finest Ponchos that I saw. |

Saw these there as well - none are mine and I hope if they belong to a member here you don't mind me sharing. Excuse the Chevy but I like the old wagons (my DD is a wagon too).

One thing I took note of was the huge increase in the number of folks riding around on scooters... seemed kind of bizarre and made walking more difficult

Steve , that White 69 has factory A/C (non- RA4 compliant) and a base 350hp dual snork air cleaner . Did they have some RA4 paperwork or something ?
Or did you mean maybe the 70 was RA4 ? |

You guys are right. That is obviously not a picture of the car I was thinking of. I remember walking up along the driver's side rear of a white Judge that had a description on the dash that claimed RA4 and it had the Ram Air decals on the hood. I don't have pictures of another white 69, so no proof.
I'm sure the 70 was not a 4. |

The white 69 belongs to one of our club members, original 400 with 62 heads, just has the Judge decals. The Blue 66 GTO belongs to our former club President and is a really nice car. The Blue 85 Grand Prix is mine, thanks for the pic. I didn't get to walk around much so can't say anything about the white 70 or the red 64. There was a fine class of cars there on both days. Overall good show.
