Still not happy with the braking on my GP. Gave the Raybestos shoes a chance to mate to the drums but not optimal. These are definitely semi metallic, not what I wanted but the description did not make that clear. Braking can be very sensitive and half the time I get a vibration on braking, probably because the shoes do not have the edges chamfered. As the brake shoe assembly swings back n forth inside the drum I believe the vibration comes from the edges contacting the drum, not enough of the actual show.
I just received a set of relined / chamfered shoes from Don and I will install and test these. Really hoping for a better outcome . Ken
