i have a 68 body by fisher...

its not really model specific..its universal really....you want to know how to service or install a power seat track its there..how to work on power windows its there....how to work on tail gates for station wagons or work on convertible top assys its there...stripes and moldings its there..dont expect it to really be 68 lemans heavy..it aint..the one i have is a 1973 print and has a bright yellow cover...i got it at an estate sale for 5 bux...after getting it and going thru it...i think its worth 5 bux to me...i sold a copy for 45 a few years ago...and i think thats exactly what its worth...just very generic..

not saying its not a good manual..its just not a huge resource....theres more in the master parts manual for 68 than in the body by fisher..if its sheet metal or goes inside the body..its there..

and the 68 body by fisher is rare..i mean really rare..

IF I can find it. I have my paper copies not sure how I could share that easily unless I can scan them.

Did some searching and finally found it. I've suggested several times that this be made a sticky. I'm glad it wasn't lost in the changeover.
It makes the assembly manual MUCH easier to use. I used to thumb through the thing page by page looking for something. VERY time consuming.
I don't know if GTOBOB is still active or not but he deserves a lot of credit for taking what had to be some considerable time doing this....

Thank you guys .... very helpful .... I had started my own index in the front of the manual, recording everything I spent 15 min each trying to find .... I had like three entries in the "index"

PS. Just printed it out .... excellent resource, what a time saver. Hopefully it applies to the nicely printed manual as well as the crappy one.

Looks like it's a match for the new blue copy. I can't believe someone took the time to do this. As far as 69 vs 68 manual I have found tons of information that is good for my 68 . I would strongly suggest anyone with a 68 to buy one. Not sure why some said it was useless for the 68 nothing could be further from the truth . Thanks to all. Doug
