Yep, a hospital is the worst place to have to be in. Sick or not. If you're already sick it could make you sicker, and if not, it still can. You could catch anything in one. You are always safer at home, and will get better care too.

You tell 'em MaryAnn. And don't take any of their crap!

Still here in the hospital, starting to lose it, and getting annoyed at everyone here. Still having horrible respiratory issues, strong IV antibiotics are destroying my veins. In a word, pneumonia sucks! y

Maryanne, I truly feel for you and hope nothing but the best for your speedy recovery. I had a bout of severe bronchitis over the winter and it got to a point that everytime I coughed every bit of my body was in pain, and that only lasted for about 3 weeks. I cant imagine what you are going through!!

Prayed for recovery. Seems to me a bug has recently gone around that resides in the throat and tried to hit the sinuses and/or lungs leading to pneumonia for some.

I had it for 8 days; low level fever, tiredness ( oxygen) but alert, the last 2 days featured good lungs, throat, sinus but a headache that was in the back of me head. Now all better.

Several local folks in the hospital with Pnumonia.

Okkkkk I’m home from the hospital, but........ I am so weak and drug out from all the coughing and short breaths, that I can barely make it across a room. I still have a very longggggggg way to getting better, and almost went back to the ER last night. I got very sick on some Chinese food Mike picked up, and BAM sick as a dog on top of the Pneumonia! When it rains it pours!! So here I go to a longgg recovery ahead, maybe not even able to get my cars out for the season. It’s very depressing when you have no control of your own body, so I’m pretty bummed out. I am happy to be home though, with my fur babies.


Thanks to ALL of you for the PM’s, your thoughts and prayers, and visits to me in the hospital. It means a lot to me! nothing like my Pontiac family.

Best part of your recovery was getting out of that damn hospital that couldn't do anything for you. Recovery might be long and slower, but at least recovery at home is by far better.

You'll get thru it MaryAnn. Keep on fighting it.
