That is a beautiful car. Vinyl top in black is the icing.

Very nice find and well bought. I'd have put that money right down before he could change his mind. Agree there's nothing the same as driving a well-kept car that's never been apart.

If you're interested, I bought this panel for a project that got scrapped. Came from PY and fits 68-72 A body. The two window channel sections went to a friend - would let it go for shipping to get it out of the garage to someone who could use it. PM me if you want.

Either way good luck. Mark O

I like THAT color, does not look “ brown” on my phone.... I’m not colorblind, either lol

Yeah. Espresso Brown is kinda in the realm of Brewster Green to me. It's kinda like "brown", "green"? Who wants a brown or green car? Until you see it. Both great colors.

Not sure what is up with this silicone repair?

Also, the original engine seems VERY green in person

Nice score for $12.5K! If the previous owner added the coolant flush apparatus, it was probably a well maintained car.

This was the oil filter on it- it must be 30 years old!

Also- does this look like a correct fuel pump? Should I save it?

I would think it is a factory fuel pump with the AC logo.

The correct fuel pump for your 69 GTO is AC # 40679, GM # 6417419.

If interested, I have an NOS 40679 fuel pump in the AC box for $125.
I also have an NOS rebuilt by AC 40679 in the AC box for $75.

The original owner found the original second set of keys and sent them to me. Look like they have never been used. He’s excited about the progress of the car and asked if he could come see it in May. I should be able to have everything worked out by then. I got a new gas tank and sending unit today that I hope to put in next week.

You may run out of exciting things to post about your “new” car. I’d like to thank you for posting and encourage you to do updates, whenever they happen.

What are your brake issues ( that is, if you have diagnosed them yet?)

Glad to see disc brakes!!!

Coker makes a radial red line tire, I think that would look cool!!!

Somebody could make copies of those keys from that photo. Code is readable on the punchouts.

Maybe ask a moderator to delete it.
