72 GTO 4-speed in Texas at $75K BIN. Judge clones typically state "Judge" in the header, and then point out it's a clone in the description. This car never claims to be a real Judge, but it also doesn't state it's a clone. Decisions were made, and this car went thru a full frame off. The decision to make it a clone was a poor one IMO, maybe in hindsight, because when the Judge wings hit the market it was all the rage to make a clone. Now it seems there's more Judge clones than real GTO's. So this car is stuck in the middle for me regarding its value. It's not a real Judge and doesn't have Ram Air, tho the hood says it does. The air cleaner is an odd choice, but it's better than a chrome Edelbrock or a Buick 400-4 sticker on a 70 dual snorkel. It's a beautiful car and I have no doubt the asking is what the builder has in it. Question is, would you be in for a clone at $75K? Right now, the prices on classic cars is coming down. I know it's not across the board, and cars like these are desirable, but a lot of people don't want the "LOOK AT ME" graphics and wing. When you see a Honda with a wing and a fart pipe, do you say to yourself, cool? So it's a really nice and rare 72 GTO with a very cool phat padded steering wheel that's had a frame off. What else could you buy for $75K? IMO, this car is going to hard to find a buyer for it. Beautiful car tho... I like looking at it, but it doesn't fit the Boomer vibe I want to be stereotyped as by driving it, I'd rather just drive a GTO, but that's me.

78 Trans AM 4-speed in Pennsylvania at $100 NR. Looks like they used a chainsaw to install the stereo.

Interesting Pontiac 287 powered 1957 Byers SR-100 on BAT. Based on an early 1950's Ford Chassis, I see A/C Ace body lines in it. The detachable Hard tops looks don't do anything for me. but it is a very interesting vintage build to my eyes.
What does everyone else think? https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...omments-anchor

79 Trans AM at $15K BIN in CA. The ad says the car is ready for 10 second runs... meethinks not. 403 Olds engine and a turbo 350 transmissions with Ford rear end. This car is a relic from yesteryear when you built what you had, and in this case it's a 403 Olds. Not sure who the buyer is for this car?

I would love to see that car get the full spa treatment of dry ice blasting in the engine compartment and complete underside.
Looks like it was stored in a humid environment. Quote:

68 GTO convertible in Illinois at $128K BIN. If I saw this driving around I'd think it was cool, but $128K cool? Sticking speakers in every possible spot that fits, doesn't necessarily make for a good sound system. The shifter sticking up a foot really doesn't add anything. All the chrome bling looks good when the hood is up (if that's what impresses you), but it's just a waste of money IMO. Whoever built this car is probably very proud of it, which they should be, but it takes someone to share the dream to sell it for >$100K.

81 Trans AM 4-speed 5.0L in Oklahoma with 58K miles and a reserve. Pretty rare for an 81 Trans AM to be a 4-speed and a hardtop. I like the WS6 rims, and the fact it has the sluggo 5.0L it was born with.

It sure didn't get any Luv, no bids on the $25k starting price. I agree rare bird, I was going to say it was probably slower than my old 79 Formula with its 301 4bbl, 4-speed saginaw, and 2.42 posi. But I see it is 305 SBC powered, not a 301 powered car.
