I would like to see the 4 piece rear chrome
moldings for the sail panel that finishes the
vinyl roof.PY Catalog has them for 68-69 and
70-72 but none for 66-67.Come on ,How about
it????

Steve

PROBLEM WITH 64-67 IS THEY ARE STAMPED ALUMINUM. THERE IS NO INEXPENSIVE WAY TO MAKE THESE MOLDINGS. ON THE POSITIVE SIDE, THEY FIT ALL A-BODY CARS, WHICH MEANS ONE OF THE BIG $$ CHEVELLE COMPANIES MIGHT BUCK-UP FOR A PROJECT LIKE THAT.

How about some front bench seat upholstry kits? Maybe introduce some of the unique Tempest interior patterns (for those rare ones that haven't been chopped up for GTO parts)

Mike

(I'd like to see them also, but there were so few bench seat Pontiacs, we're not having much luck getting interior companies to make patterns. In the meantime, most owners are buying 2 rear seats and an upholsterer can come darn close to making the bench look correct.

Like to see a good steet 71 GTO front valance, a rear valance with cutouts that doesn't cost $300, and a factory ram air air cleaner assembly. Any why doesn't anyone repro the 71 GTO grille nameplate? Every other year can be found.

71 GTO front valance, rear valance and air cleaner are all in the works. Price will be much lower than what you are seeing now. Check back end of summer. Also, 71,72,73 GTO emblems are not available because of limited production one year only. Also a 1970 emblem looks identical once installed. Only difference is the attaching pins.

The 70 -72 Firebird interior sail panels and lower door panels are very difficult to find in any shape. Would love to see them
reproduced.

Ram-Air Air cleaners for the 70-74 L78.
Would'nt that be nice for a couple of hundred $ instead of $500-1000 for junkers.

OK PY, you want to make a few more bucks. I have recently tried to get some POA valves for GM/Harrison air conditioning systems. These are about imposible to find. Seems the manufacturer no longer makes or will ever support them. Any chance of seeing these reproduced, or are they in the same boat as '70 GTO/Lemans tail light lenses.

Check out my restoration at http://members.aol.com/jetmech15/gto

POA valve is going to be a tough one. But there is a serious attempt being made to do the 70-72 GTO lenses!

66-67 Front Fenders(They would sell like Hotcakes) Don't give me this BS about the 68-69 don't sell. THey made over 150K of GTO's alone those would sell!
Rear quarters for everything. Why are the Chevelles getting all the good stuff. It boggles my mind.

67-69 Bird Front Disc Spindles..."Convert Drum Spindles to Disc; all you need to do is mill about 1/4" off of one Threaded Boss"
Then supply front disc caliper brackets for a complete conversion kit. I do not know if there is an availability issue with the Calipers these days..got two from Pepp Boys in 1992.

69 Bird Manual Steering pitman Arms. Curved would be nice, so Long-Branch manifolds can be used during full right-turning radius.

67-72 GTO and 67-69 Bird Replacement axles:
7/16 studs on Standard pattern with half-inch studs on the 5" pattern. May as well make these axles capable of street/strip.

67-68, & 69 Bird and GTO In-Dash stereos that accomodate the dash centerbar..may as well include 1/8 inch stereo input for remote CD player, Seek/Scan, Must be lighter than GM stereo

69 Dual bailing wire Brake Master Cylinders made in Aluminum.

SFI approved Harmonic Balancers...without the high price, like under $100.

67-69Bird Headers with 1 7/8 or 2" primaries.
some minor tube bend improvements to boot, like skipping the equal-length foolishness.

The one thing that has been frustrating is finding the 69 Firebird front bumper Pontiac arrowhead. Ames had these in "Inquire" mode for the last 7 years, and never did produce any. They recommend buying the 67/68 arrowhead, and making "...some mods to the bumper" (re-drilling holes). Now that a repro front bumper is available, I doubt anyone will actually make the 69 arrowhead, as you have to drill new holes in the repro bumper to mount an emblem anyway.

67-69 Firebird round port headers that actually fit, without going around the frame, scraping the ground, or sticking up through the hood.

Aluminum Rally I and Rally II wheels for us "stealth nuts".

Tim - What tri-power carb tags are you looking for? I'm looking at my PY GTO catalog and they list '64, '65 and '66 MT and AT tags (Part numbers RPE346, 348, 350, 352, 354 and 356 respectively).
