There was a nice '64 vert on BJ last night that went for $70K+..Of course, they were coming back from a commercial as it was being pushed off stage. Red on Red, white top, spoke hubcaps.

Goats
I used my 64 to tow my 65 to the strip . Tough choice but 65 gets the nod, But I love any Pontiac with three ducks.

1964 for me. I love the 65's too, but the pureness of the 64, with styling that reminds me of a 62 Grand Prix... just does the trick.
I have a 64 Tempest, so I've got the embossed arrowheads in my (bench)seats- lol I do prefer the 65's seating design, and the center hood scoop. I prefer the horizontal headlights- it gives a mean, low slung, wide appearance... but I'd take either of them!!

64 because I was built when the original Musclecar was.

1965, because the front end looks a little better in my opinion

I've had both well before they became posh, fashionable and date code correct.
So seeing that there is no "all of the above", I cannot vote. |

Both great looking cars, but I voted for the 65. Like the 65 hood scoop and the stacked headlights. Just think the 65 has that "mean" look. Like the 64 wood wheel much better and the more sleeper look. Funny, I like my 62 Catalina better than the 63 big cars because I like the horizontal headlights better on the big cars. But on the GTO, the stacked headlights look just great.

65, though it's close... I think it's the stacked headlights and the angles.

Difficult vote. I had a 1965 Lemans 326HO in college. I would lust at the GTO's with the hood scoop. I love the wheel well openings of both cars as I do many GTO years. Some of the best!
Voted for the 1964 which is probably the underdog and clearly because I have one now.

First car I ever owned was a '64 Tempest custom. 326 4 speed. Bought it from the original owner, my uncle Gary. Obviously, my vote goes to '64.
