Yes, I purchased a WS block last summer. It is actually a 9799915 block. The date code was good for my car so I went with it. Haven't started the build on that one yet, just had it cleaned and checked for cracks.
I told the previous owner of that block that he would have first dibs if I found my original and then decided to sell it. I also need to make sure my original is serviceable as well. I had her send me a few pics. I specifically asked for the date code of my original block. I wanted to see how it compares to the replacement I bought. My original was cast on L109, the replacement I bought was later.

Just incase any of that was directed to me, I was totally joking.
In no way would I dream that someone would hook me up with a 1970 WS block.
