I can think of a few races Ray didn't show for. One was on the east coast that Bill W. and I were going to come up and help crew for him. Tow rig problems sidelined him.

"...you have more in your motor than I have in the hole car!"

"hole" car...now THAT'S funny

Ray, If you have time between round to check out other peoples stuff instead of band-aiding yours back together, you would see that Bruce has the same front suspension as yours minus the control arms. I stand corrected, TRZ has raised their prices of the bolt in control arms to $900.

I guess some people are more serious about racing then others. I didn't build my car or motor over night. I've had my car since '95 and have been refining it ever since.

Lou included me on a mass email about this. I thought it was a joke at first, but he seems serious.

His requirement is that 5 cars have to show, 4 of them being Cox, Langer, Maichle and Lil' Jack (I forget the 5th car). Told him to email Jim Zeek and see what he thinks. I was surprised that of the 5, Keefer wasn't listed. I guess he lost faith in Ken.

Ray...that's funny.

I'm mistaken, here's the names Lou listed:

John Langer
Bruce Michaels
Ray Cox
LiL Jack
Pontiac Dude
Rabin Williams

He said a minimum of 5 would have to show. Ray, the DATE is Pontiacs in the Park.

If Lou is serious I'll make it happen. And there will only be one rule which I think will be fair to everyone. Most of the cars named have participated in either the NSCA or Pro Edelbrock Race Series. Therefore they must be legal (weight, fuel etc) for their respective Series classes to participate in the shootout. No whining! Anyone else who can fit into a NSCA or Pro class with a traditional Pontiac engine can try to qualify. Lou will determine size of field and payout. I like 5 car and winner take all! May 19-21. Shootout will be run on Saturday.
