Not taking anything away from Gaby's work, but suspension, tire and weight are a big deal vs Langer.

False claims? Any and all businesses make them. It's called advertising. EVERYONE does it. Look at your Sunday paper-anything to get you in the door. I'm the best- Look at me!! Whatever....I'm just happy the Pontiac community has grown with todays technology......Indians don't look well with bow-ties and that's where my and many other's cars would be without the advances our venders have made. How many times have you been asked if you have a Pontiac motor after making another respectable pass? Brings a smile to my face!! I'm only running a 470" motor and am in the high tens with a full stock and complete interior street car-no roll bar....Remember how much those seats weigh? I'll get there and I look forward to building a faster and safer car to meet track regulations. I have alot of respect for the folks here and many have helped me get to where I am today and I also look forward to tomorrow. I'm having fun and I'm entertained by this thread......I should go after all those ladies with padded bra's.....That's false advertising!!! I think I'm on to something

You might want to re-think that argument.

But we were talking about horsepower, right?
How many other Pontiac's are running heads up against every other brand and winning World titles? Again, I have nothing but love for Gaby and his work, you chose him, not me. I was impressed with your old car, and I'm sure the new one will be even better. |

NA, one carb and an IA II block. But I'm not sure how the block produces power, it just makes the motor live longer. It's a long term investment.

It's obvious that Kauffman Racing Equipment manufactures products for Pontiacs that help some of the fastest Pontiacs in the country.
All Pontiac does the same. Though I don't currently use any of their products I don't deny they make some great stuff. I also don't bag on them. They claim the strongest block, Kauffman claims the best heads. Personally, I don't give a crap what anyone claims. I do my own research, before making a decision to purchase. There is plenty of room in on the planet for more Pontiac businesses, builders, mfg's.

I have no horse in this race...BUT, I for one am more impressed with a heavy, small tire car putting up big numbers than I am with a super light big tire car. That said, I'd love to have a super light car that I could throw my motor in and run low 's/high 8's.

Imagine what John's car might run in an 1800-2000# rail. Food for thought. He races a CLASS, and built the car for that class...and it is impressive. 1100HP with 1800# is FAST. Even at 2000# it is LOW 7's according to Wallace Racing.
Not taking away from anyone's accomplishments, butI'd rather watch 9-10 second door cars than watch a rail. Why do you think the stands are empty for most super pro rail races...because rails are boring. RED's are more exciting, as there are not many around. JMO.
