Another big thanz to Mr AMC Guy for posting.

Here is some info on the unusual kar-bike that I won at that auction. Yes it is spelled with a K. It was developed and produced in Wisconsin and only for a few years beginning around 1947. The early ones which mine is had a metal steering wheel the later ones from what I read had a plastic steering wheel.

Basically driven by a fan belt when you pedaled the bike. This is all original and barely visible it is pin striped. Production was hindered by the fact the manufacturer from what I understand could not get any mass marketing retail store to carry it.

Based on that info most that you probably would find today would be in the mid west part of the country. I think its quite unique and really could be made today using different materials and have a wide appeal since it is unique.
