After a few delays with the shipper the Ram Air I finally made it to its' new home in St. Louis! It is a big project that will have to wait. I'm knee deep in a 66 Corvette restoration that will have to be finished first! As always I'll be keeping an eye open for parts that I need. Someday it will be a beauty.........................!

![]() If you want a 68 date he only has to change 1 number. ![]() Makes you wonder if it's a real 2506 block?

It's a cast 2506 block and appears to be real.

It's the real deal, do you think I'd post the link if it wasn't?
Odds are better than any scratch off ticket it's his block!

Well, I really have not started the restoration yet, but I have been collecting drivetrain parts. I got the 2506 XS block, L187 date. L057 Intake. 31 Heads, L127 date. L157 waterpump. 1100704 37 amp alternator, 7M26 date. 1111449 distributor, 7L30 date. 1968 M21 4-speed w/660 case and Hurst shifter. NOS 44S spark plugs and NOS vacuum advance 1973411. So many of the 'hard to find' parts have been located. I still have to finish the 66 Corvette. I plan to have that done by next June for the Bloomington Show. Then I will start on the Ram Air I.

Nice. Looking forward to following your build. I think there is a RAI carb on ebay for a reasonable price.... $350 ish. Needs work but might be a good rebuild able core.
Here is the link. http://m.ebay.com/itm/1968-PONTIAC-F...-/310883599159 I didn't catch the trans type....is your car an auto or manual trans? Edit: I see the M-21 in your parts list. Never mind the carb link...

Carb is a service dated carb from 1974 - dime a dozen.
Finding all of those parts is not easy - the 31 heads are the hardest!

Plus the "276" carb is a Firebird code I believe. My RA I auto GTO has a 7028274 carb.
