No disrespect meant at all to Alan Johnson, but they didn't exactly reinvent the wheel with the 481X. It's basically a Billet version of a Big Chief with the cam raised and pushrod moved around to improve valvetrain geometry. It has a standard 4.840" BBC bore spacing, and uses a BBC crank, with optimized bearing sizes, an 8 bolt Hemi flange. The block height is 10.4" and they are a 4.5" bore engine, so they've aren't some huge bore, stretched block monster that many assume them to be. I am glad he helped you out Paul. He just likes to be a thorn in my side being on the anti CV side. He will always be a non racer to me until he gets a car back out there.
If you raced 20 years ago you are currently a non racer.

He is a "numbers" guy and I am sure it is of use once in awhile to some. Still does not mean I am not going to call him a non racer and take shots at him as long as he does his "lie and wait" bu!!sh!t.

Actually the last time I was at the track making some passes was 2007 and that car like every other car I have races was a 3 pedal car.

There is an old saying. It maybe before your time. "Real racers cars have 3 pedals"
