The good old Craftsman stuff usually has a V stamped near the part number, along with a rectangular raised area with grooves. I have a couple of old Craftsman V wrenches that I use regularly. One is a long double boxed end 3./8 and 7/16 wrench. It s great for u-joints on vehicles and also in hard to reach areas on airplanes. I also have a Plomb double boxed combo wrench 9/16 and 5/8 that I have ground down to do engine mounts on Lycomings and Continentals. Still use a Craftsman ignition wrench set with the plastic pouch, and a 1/4" drive 12 pt Craftsman socket set pretty much daily.
