Here is the email I got back:
Dear Sir, Please find below some information on our Trans Am The car can be seen by appointment in Toronto (Canada) Here is the email I got back: 1973 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am 455-SD Cream White/Blue (Ext) Brown (Int) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Showroom condition, very rare 4-speed Super Duty, Matching numbers Price: $175,000 *Would dark saddle be considered their description of "dark brown?" I also received the same lousy pictures posted on the site. $175k, if it is truly showroom and numbers matching throughout, is actually a good deal. I wonder what the Canadian dollar price would be? hmm. Last edited by GREGGDOG; 02-29-2008 at 05:36 PM. |

It looks like the Canadian dollar is stronger than the US. You're looking at over 177k for it. Not too too long ago the Canadian dollar was about 1/2 ours. That would have been a decent buy.

Does anyone reproduce the sticker that is on the FRONT of the driver's side valve cover for a 74 sd y8 engine?

Didn't see it on their website. I don't mean the one on the top of the valve cover but rather the one located on the front edge kind of behind the alternator. It would have the engine letters with what looks like a bar code of some sort. You can see it the fabulous firebird book on the picture of the engine on the crate.

Rick'sGTO, that is the real deal. I saw the car, in the barn, and had committed a trade with the owner for a '69TA. Two days before the transport showed up, he backed out.
I hope the owner keeps the original paint, as will clean up to be a nice survivor. There were a lot of service and oil change receipts in the console all from Arizona, and if you look carefully in the trunk, the original arizona issued plates.

wow, what a find, I am guessing you could easily count on one hand the '73 SD T/A's that were white with Buckskin interior, very nice color combo. Sorry your deal fell thru on it. Looks like it was in the right part of the country and the garage had a good roof to keep the car dry all that time. Sounds like he is keeping it original from the use of the word "refresh" but it will be interesting to see it when it's done.

ramair3formula,
We use to make our own from old pictures and originals. My printer is still waiting to be replaced otherwise Id throw one at you! There is a difference between the years however and the 74 year was just in black and white compared to the orange, black, and white for a 73. Hey Greg, I agree with you on that color combo, Looks pretty hot indeed! |

Here is one in color but like I said there are some 74 owners that tell me these should be in black and white?
PM me with you direct email and I could forward one to you for printing on sticky paper! |

Are the nuts that hold the upper arm bushings in supposed to have a tack weld on sd cars?
