I'd like that car if the steering wheel was on the correct side.

That's right. I had a 72 Grand Torino Sport and I really liked that car. I bought that car when it was two years old and a friend @ work wanted to reduce his debt. That was the best car deal I ever got.

Not sure I understand the story correctly but I don't think I would be shooting at a car owned by the Hell's Angels.

I think he was saying the previous owner told him that the car was once owned by the Hell's Angels but that the neighbor shot the door while HE owned the car.

There are several of these that have been listed here in the last month. I never could find them because of the "Ponita" spelling. Looks like there might be some rare parts though!

Doors: $900
Factory alum (???) valve covers: $800
Two tail lights: $800

Those parts are bargain priced. After all, didn't he see a '66 GTO go for big bucks on Barrett-Jackson? I 'd definitely call him, if English was his first language.

I'll bet 10 to 1 those parts are off of a green 68 Dodge Dart.

Any time I got suckered into a friend telling me about "Old Pontiac GTO" parts he found in a barn or junk yard
they always end up being Chevy Nova or Dodge Dart parts....UGH!

Thats what I get for hanging arround car guys who are'nt Pontiac guys

They weren't valve covers, they were value covers.
