65 GTO NR at $500. I'd be more skeptical if the seller didn't have a score of almost 700, but it doesn't state where the car is. No pics of the interior or engine.

This car sold for $13.1K. That's at least $10K less than it's worth IMO. I wish I had some extra cash to buy it.

The guy sent me a bunch of pics of the above car. Red interior/tri-power and 4 speed. Really nice car in Florida. Cars like these sometimes sell for a good deal because the original ad isn't done very well.

It does seem a bit high, but donor parts for these cars are easy to find. While the old Firebird book I have lists it as a 4 star out of five, there were 5683 10th anniversary T/A's made with an automatic in 79.

There's much debate on what drives a car's worth, but there are a group of people who who lived in the 80's that a 70-81 Trans Am are what they want and takes them back to the glory days. How many people do you know that didn't have a Trans AM or knew someone who did? Worth noting is the 75-81 Mopars and Mustangs were ugly and gutless. At least the Trans Am's were pretty. I've heard the black Bandit T/A's are hot right now.

I think the car sold for about what it's worth considering the drivetrain is there.

Cool car. Bill of sale only is kinda scary. I think i'd need to know the car could get a title. Cool car though.

I think most DMV will give one if applying for transfer from out of state. but with my $ I would avoid having to scramble for a title

Georgia, Alabama and others in this part of the country don't require a title on any car before 1985. In fact, they won't even provide one if requested. Just a bill of sale and a T-22B form filled in by any LEO. The form verifies that it's not reported stolen.

Here's a typically overpriced car IMHO. 68 Firebird "Restomod" for $70K in Tennessee. While it may have cost that much to build it, it's personalized for one person's taste. Unless the buyer shares that taste, it's just another hot rod. I'd put the value at less than half what they're asking. That scoop is a rain gutter. I had a T/A once with the scoop cut out and had to drive it in the rain a few times.

69 Judge 4-speed in Maryland for $20K. Supposedly a rebuilt NM drivetrain, Someone tubbed it and installed a roll cage 20 years ago. I've seen worse. This car is priced to sell IMO. Is that a green interior?

What's up with that tripower intake on the front seat? It does not look like any tripower intake I've ever seen. Look at the center runner where the choke stove should be....and no vacuum openings anywhere.
