Pictures LOOK LIKE you have the Turbos sealed up properly against dirt/trash prior to the actual use. Hopefully every hole: (Oil In, Oil Out, Air in, Air Out)

Yes Tom. My son wrecked a ball bearing turbo once by leaving the oil ports open during fabrication. He taught me a great lesson, LOL. On his dime. I had the exhaust turbine exit closed off too until I clamped the exit cones on.

Thanks guys for the nice comments. I just wanted to say, in case you may not already know of him, the little tempest next to me in the pics belongs to Keith Collier. MechanicKeith here on the board. It is at 548,000 miles right now. We had a giant rain storm last month. He had it parked on the street where he works and the water was running so high in the street, it was coming OVER the front bumper. That was about three weeks ago and that Saturday (yesterday) was the first since the storm that everything electrical was working again. It had completely shut down electrically from the water. He ran a jumper wire for the fuel pump and the distributor that day to get home, with no other electricals working.

I'm removing an aftermarket sunroof...fortunately they didnt hurt roof supports or hurt the curvature so its a bit easier.... certainly easier than the serpentine belt setup using the 59 timing cover. If I used a 69 up cover I'd be done...a 69 alt/ps bracket fits my 90 'bird pump and the 1990 factory105 amp altenator only would need an extra spacer cause the span is wider... but no I'm stayin with the early rev cool cover... think I'm goin to use a different ps pump with remote reservoir so I can tuck it under driver side pump to head hose... makin' brackets for idlers and accessories... Ford pulleys with new holes fit pretty close I'll probably make my turbo mounts part of my brackets while I'm at it.
What vehicle might have remote reservoir pump with 6 rib Ford/GM pulley, any ideas?

I found a pic of someone's '60 Catalina built as a mild Gasser, not sky high or over the top. Just the way I intended to build one. I think it looks so darn "tough".

Yep...I have his number someplace..lost ifo when computer crashed !!
He has a interesting drive train set up...IMO.
He was running very low rear gear and a Gear Vendors OD behind a Turbo ???

Haven't posted for a while. Now that the weather has cooled I've been doing all the little projects around the house. But I've been doing a little here and there in between. I made a pair of turbo support mounts. Welded to the flanges and bolted on to of the frame. Added some holes to make it nicer.



I also added a fuel pump extension so I had more room above the balancer/bottom pulley for belts. Added some fittings and ran some fuel lines for mock up.



Bought a bunch of left over Nascar braided lines to run the water from the trunk mounted radiator up to the motor in front, and back. Still working on that. But you can see the lines in the fuel pump pic. Anywho. I plan to buy steel on Monday to build a start up/run in stand. It'll be too hard to run in and break in the engine in the car. I have to have access to the distributor and it is hard with it in the car. While the motor's out I need to cut an access panel into the firewall so I can get to the distributor. Like I said, lots still to do, but getting closer every day.

Sunday morning here in the Valley of the Sun. All the way down to 50--BRRRRRR---LOL. We've been staying to highs of 70-71 but we have a winter cold warning coming. Highs are going to drop all the way down into the HIGH 50's. Leaving to go to a monthly swap meet in a few minutes.
