I would like to bring this one back up, and I would like to add upper and lower door hinges as well as body mounts and core support mounting kits. Restoring a Can Am is proving to be much tougher than I expected.

interior sail and arm rest panels, fiberglass tail panel, also front bumper everyone i have has had low speed events with other objects and when they are slightly bent what can you do with them? They dont have to be exact replicas just the right shape.

Ditto - They make them for the 67-69's and 74-81's, but why hasn't anyone done the 70-73 yet??? I almost ended up cutting the tail panel out of my 1-of-2,071 '70 4-speed Esprit for my '70 TA; I was lucky enough to have recently found a '73 Formula 350 donor shell that I'll be cutting the tail panel out of. I think I'm going to start buying ever ragged-out California rust-free 70-73 base model 'bird I come across and hold their tail panels for ransom. The last one I saw on ebay went for almost $900 and it needed some work...Let's get with it repop companies, pull your heads out...

We '73-'77 owners need damn near anything and everything we can get. At least you '64-'72 A- and '69-'81 F-body owners have a good deal of parts available. We have almost nothing. But, a short list could be...upholstery kits...upper door panels (lowers can be had from OPGI since they're the same as the Chevelle/Century/ElCamino/etc. - amazing we have that available). Headlight bezels. Grilles for all the years, Grand Ams as well as LeMans. Same for taillights and backup lights. As with the comment above for the '70-'73 F-body tail panel, pull your heads out, repro companies! The '64-'72 market won't last forever, and it's pricing itself out of reach slowly but surely. The next place to go could easily be your '73-'77s, the last of the true Pontiac-powered machines. These cars, with some modification*, can be just as good or better than ones that preceded it. It's time to start recognizing that fact.

(* Yes, I know the engines were detuned. That can be changed. and the handling of these cars has ALWAYS been better than the generation that preceded it, even if they weren't as fast.)

TA-71: It's tough, yeah, but then you won't have a car that everyone else will have at your local show. I see 'birds and Goats at mine, but NO ONE ELSE brings a Can Am.

OK, I'm done, and the soapbox is put away. I just have to beat the drum now and again for the '73-'77 A's crowd. Someone has to, or we surely will get NO attention..
