Mr Langer You said KRE wasn't even in the top five how come you are not in this list you probably can't make the top 20 . There are five KRE cars in the top 11 on this list and Stallion will be close to the top before the year is over. You won't come to Norwalk because you are just another 8.5 second door car their it's not the John Langer show anymore you are just one of the pack .IF YOU DON'T LIKE THIS POST TOUGH YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE STARTED IT.
KEN
HAVE A GREAT DAY
Ken, Thanks for the kind words. I am trying to be with the really fast guys. I hope Norwalk will be the place. Don't forget Jimmy Jemmal 8:08 @ 168 with a 400 block N/A and of course my son Michael 8:28 @ 165 with a 400 block N/A.

I suspect you will be right up there Maurice! Even if your not the fastest one out of the pack, you will definately have the coolest ride!

Your son Michael @ 8:28. Nice, I gather you and your son are both racing if so that`s
very cool indeed. I for one would like to know more about you, only out of interest. I think it is neat that a son happens to like and get into what dad`s into. My son is right on the verge of getting into cars as a hobby, he`s just about finished his apprenticeship as a mechanic 3rd yr. Lucky me he does like pontiacs alot, I think in part to when he was younger he did ride around with me stomping afew Stangs { LOL }. Good luck to you.

Good for you and your son, he is way a head of Michael and me in the mechanical part of our race team. I would have liked to have kept my 96 Prix because my 19 year young daughter is itching to drive also. I will PM you my phone #. web site www.stallionmotorsportsinc.com . Thanks Maurice.

Imagine what John's car might run in an 1800-2000# rail. Food for thought. He races a CLASS, and built the car for that class...and it is impressive. 1100HP with 1800# is FAST. Even at 2000# it is LOW 7's according to Wallace Racing.

Not taking away from anyone's accomplishments, butI'd rather watch 9-10 second door cars than watch a rail. Why do you think the stands are empty for most super pro rail races...because rails are boring. RED's are more exciting, as there are not many around.

For get what I would run. What would Rex run weighing 600lbs less? He went what, a .39 or .38 earlier this year atr 188?

Default Facts.................just the Facts

Shane Molinari.......................8.01 at 168+ in a very heavy Lemans.

Jeff Kauffman ran that 7.49 back in 2000. Rex ran his numbers just last year in October.

The Klingerman's run a nostalgia Monza funny car named "Fuelish". Got to ride along with them one year at the Geezers event at MG. They run a BBC on alky with a 6-71 up top. They run it with a very conservative tune backed by a 'glide. Car weight with Tracy on board after a pass is 2250. I would guess they're making around 1100-1200 HP. The car typically runs low 7.50's, but has run 7.50's on occasion with their current tune. If they stuck this engine in an 1800 lb. race ready rail it would obviously be much faster.

Why is that people dont look at the weight of the car? Ken posting that list doesnt show anything other than you can ran fast with RED and need much HP to do it.

If you guy's think your flying now just imagine what kind of power can be made with my newest port design. The port I developed currently can be used in the TIGER heads current valve arrangement and flows 500 + cfm. I know many of you think that the exhaust configuration should be changed to a symetrical style of which I agree, but then a Pontiac will loose it's identity. Another part of that is that the guy's currently running fast with the TIGER head or E-head would have to change to many parts to upgrade. We need to take little steps not huge ones.Unfortunetly none of us have sponsors and cannot just go lay down large amounts of money every time something new comes along. I am not sure if my newest port design will ever come about though. It seems like there is just not enough demand for such a high end head, but that's not going to stop me or anyone else from pushing forward and making it bigger and better.
This debate just got good here in the last couple of post's with everyone finally relating weight to power. Yes low 7 second passes are impressive even at 1800 lbs , but low sevens are even more impressive at 2300 lbs. NHRA prostocks are some of the fastest normally aspirated cars in the world with 500 cu. in. and weigh 2350. Us old traditional Pontiac die hards are gaining on the latest most advanced engines in NHRA history and we are doing it with basically 30 + year old technology. To me,that is way COOL.

Identity schmendity! Lose the siamesed ports so we can run a primary larger than 2-1/8" without the center primaries also getting siamesed. Besides, zoomies with siamsed center pipes look like hammered dog crap.

ok, im new here pretty much..so what class of car is mr langers?..some weird tt5 pontiac only deal?..and n/a to boot..i am confused..i need more info..looks like most of the "fast" cars are bracket racers..so who the hell cares how fast they go

cuz if you aint running down the chevys, fords, and mopars at their own game, you aint poo..and its gonna take tigers or cv-1s to play that game..my calculations show the cv-1s to be more cost efficient..thats the way im going..10.5 tire, with all the goodies thrown in..i think your mostly stuck in pontiac only races..i could be wrong..i loved the cv head killing them in arizona..it was a small race, but it won..

In a nutshell, Robin won fastest street car in AZ just before going for the fastest street car in America competition.

Since we are talking about making power here - I take it from your coments that you have a 500 cfm port - that is based on the tiger head -- so where is it ?? whats the deal ? - and at 500 cfm - over 540 cid that is the normal max available for us -- it would seem that we would need to be near pro stock rpm to make it really "work" Inquiring minds want to know ?
