Moving day!

Last weekend of the summer, and thanks to Bjorn's prodding, we have a weekend full of sleepovers planned. Patrick has a couple buddies coming over Tomorrow night, and Cate has a friend coming over Saturday.

Some carpeting from a project years ago and a This End Up couch from a tax sale. There's a trunk we found on town pick-up day for a coffee table and of course the TV.

Still needs window trim & paint, but it's ready for the weekend!

Thanks guys!

They're great memories for the kids, but pretty damn good for me too!

Looks like a very nice, dry, and comfortable place for kids to do all sort of things that they would rather their parents not know about.

You need to put a web cam in a ceiling corner and let them know you'll be watching from time to time.

Got the window & door trim up today - even some base board around the carpeting.

The end table was our $.50 tag sale find this weekend, the lamp was a school project Cate & I did - it's supposed to be a lighthouse.

Funny you mention that....had a meeting with zoning here on Tuesday and picked up the paperwork for the ZBA - looks like I'll be needing a variance to build it where/how I want. Currently it's a soccer field for my son, and a turnaround area for my truck and trailers.

It's also a parking spot for friends who have cars they don't want their wives to know about.

That tree house is fantastic!!! Great work. I agree with Bjorn, those fish scales really do dress up the gable.

Maybe you'll just have to take another trip out here to help!

Hey its your turn to come out here. You'll see how busy one person can be and still get stuff done. I have a ton of stuff unfinished to complete in my lifetime. I'm hoping cloning and slavery will become common place so that I can have all my clones pick up my loose ends. Ugh!

Ethan Allen coffee table from the "Last Chance" pile outside the back door of my favorite consignment store - $10.

A little more paint, some oil finish for the shingle siding, and a few more road signs inside and this one will be done!
