David, you have to consider the source! I think in the end I had chevy guys voting for the Goat.
He (Dawg) used the same tactics when he was in the car of the month. There was a vette in the group who took an early lead and he accused him of fishy business as well. He and his supporters just cannot take defeat graciously. Oh well, give it up to Pontiac members who stick together through thick and thin. If I win this thing, I owe it all to them. Thanks for the Support.

Looks to me to be 23% in favor of Tom's car, congrats on the win. Doesn't it feel great to take on a chevy and be the underdog and come out on top. PONTIACS RULE!!!!!!!
Tom, no problem supporting a fellow Pontiac owner, we'll talk to ya later about your shirt purchase when you make your decision on which ones you'd like. Brad Yost |

What's great guys is that mid month he was over 40% ahead in the polls and thought it was locked. That is, till my Pontiac friends kicked in and we just edged up and passed him. It's really a shame that he had point fingers, sign up to our site and accuse me of cheating and such, but in his defense I'm sure he was frustrated. Pontiac has had their sh*t together for years and are organized and supportive of one another and that's what made the difference. Hope everyone has a great New Year and have fun in 2010.

One funny thing is GM never realized, the loyalty and allegiance that the Pontiac owners have and this contest pretty well proves it. I worked in a Pontiac, Buick, Chevy and Cadillac dealerships as well as owned my own garage and we worked on anything, but we specialized in Pontiacs. Being subjected to all other GM makes as well as Ford and Chrysler owners, my opinion is there is a definite difference in attitudes. These are my own observations about Pontiac owners coming from many years being in contact with hundreds of them over many years.
True Pontiac owners are like no other marques owners, they run their cars hard as they expect their car will take it, and they usually maintain them too as they know taken care of properly the car will last them as well as perform well for many years. They do take pride in their ownership of their cars, and as shown here when one of our own needs help we will do anything to help the single person for the good of the marque and to be able to hold their heads up proudly and do all they can to make their car the best it can be. Also the owners a fiercely loyal to their brand as can be seen in the posts on this board and very persistent and don't care to know the definition of the word "Can't". They bought a Pontiac as they believe it is truly a better engineered car than the competition and although there are cheaper cars, you get what you pay for and they'd actually like to pay a little more to get the benefits. Many times they have old time values and live by those values too. There are of course exceptions to every rule and this is what I have observed that the majority are overall. Congratulations to Tom and his latest victory over the chevy camp, It feels good to beat them fair and square and this supports just what I have said above, that true Pontiac owners stick together and that solidarity can even overcome shear numbers by other brands. PONTIACS RULE !!!!!! The back of the PONTIADDICT shirt pretty well sums it up:
