Yeah, Phil's a kidder from way back. He'll even kid a kidder...which, as everyone knows, is highly frowned upon.

Sir... I respect your ability to roll with the punches during this trying time. Yes I know you were joking. I was just ribbing you back. All is well on this end. I just wish there was something I could do to help. Short of painting it because I'm not sure I'll ever attempt that again. While it looks great I know every flaw on my paint job and believe me there are many... If funds allowed I would be sitting waiting too.

You know, round three! I am torn between going after the car and seeing just how long it will take to get it painted.
I bought some A/C parts from a fellow PYer and they should be here this week. I also got a free dash speaker from 67 Lemans 326. I hope to hook it up to my A/M radio for a bench test in the next week or so.
I am almost through with my shop addition so I can get back on the little things for the car, not like I have to be in a hurry or anything.
Y'all have a good one and keep cool.

I just got done reading through all 53 pages, you are one laid back guy, lol. I think I would have pulled the car 6 months ago but I just have no time for excuses. You might as well leave the car, its soo close. Good luck and the work you have done so far looks great, can't wait to see it finished.

Eric,
Thanks for the offer but, if things don't work out in the near future, I have two other painters ready to do it.
I am probably going back to Columbus this weekend and have a nice little talk with Norman!

Victory!

I recall it taking much longer than expected to get from the "just painted" stage to the finish line.

The car is still at the painters. He is going to color sand and buff it. And, he isn't happy with the trunk lid so he is going to redo it. I can't go after it for two weeks but at least it is painted! I am pleased with it.
