Really looking forward to this game. The Packers will be a far greater challenge than Carolina was. I don't think that first game means anything at this point in the season. I also don't think Rodgers is hurt as bad as they're making him out to be.
The weather is terrible here. Pouring rain and winds gusting 25-30 mph. Weather service is saying this might let up by game time, but if it doesn't the weather will definitely be a factor in this game. Which team will be able to establish a running game? I have to give Carolina credit for bottling up Lynch. Will GB be able to do the same thing? Will the Seahawks be able to stop Lacey? Only a few more hours 'til game time. GO HAWKS! Oh, and I want to see the Seahawks play the Patriots in the SB. Winning vs. two hall of fame QBs in successive years would be pretty sweet.

Congrats Hawks!
Nice job Packers on snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. You can look at a few plays like the onside, or the pathetic coverage on the 2-point, but I still blame McCarthy and his prevent offense he played most of the 4th quarter....and not going after Sherman after his injury. Horrible....

Possession doesn't happen until you get two feet down and maintain possession to the ground. And simultaneous possession belongs to the offense. The Packers wouldn't have even been playing today except for that maintaining possession to the ground rule. |

![]() It was there for the taking, I expected them to get the same treatment Denver did in the Super Bowl. Oh well... Is it spring yet?

Packers kicked our asses all over the field until the 2nd half. It was a hell of a game and I thought for sure I would be rooting for Green Bay in the Superbowl.

Amazing! I just can't believe the last 3 minutes, and OT. That is a prime example of why you never quit.

IMO the better team did not win today. That game just about killed me no joke.

And I disagree. The Seahawks had more passing yards, more rushing yards, more first downs and more points. The fact that they gave Green Bay a 16 point lead in the first half is meaningless. The fact that the Packers had more time of possession only means something if they score more points. A pair of 1 yard 1st half field goals shows how effective the Packer offense was given the fact that Seattle had all those first half turnovers. |

The Seahawks stunk up the stadium for about 55 minutes of play. I'll give them credit for maintaining composure and finishing strong. I wouldn't be real proud of that performance myself...
Here's my question though..Why did the Packer's Burdette take a knee on that last interception? The announcer said he 'wisely' downed the ball. Looks like he could have easily advanced the ball 10 or 15 yards? I don't get it?

No kidding. I was cringing the whole first half. Just about asleep during the third quarter figuring we were done and resigning myself to be happy we'd made it as far as we did, and then, all of a sudden things started going our way.
If not for some phenomenal luck, the Packers would have won this game. That onside kick should have been theirs, and then going long and getting the touchdown in OT when Wilson had been sucking wind all game... The Packers out-played the Seahawks until the very end of the game. A win is a win, and I'll take it, but I can hardly believe what I saw. By all rights the Packers should be playing NE in the SB. I just hope Wilson has this one, horrible game out of his system and plays like we know he can in the SB. I don't think my heart can take another game like this one.

Did this coach used to coach the Browns? This is the stuff we have endured for years! 4th and inches with no score and they go for a field goal? Also the wonderful prevent defense that we have talked about in Cleveland when they played the Broncos-remember John Elway in the drive!. I probably will not even watch the game- really do not care for either team!

Seattle didn't win or hang in or do anything but stink.
Just that the Packers stunk worse. Professionals? Playoff football? No |

The Seahawks looked like they were trying to imitate the Bengals for about 3-1/2 quarters.
I feel bad for the GB guy that muffed the onside kick though. I'll be rooting for Seattle, don't really care much about them, but I'm tired of seeing Brady and Belichek.
