Now Jack, A 30/26 is a very small square tune up. Or at least I thought any way. I have never burned up a piston on one system. We broke the converter, and pedaled the motor resulting in a piston with a pinched ring. This is a common result of doing that, Just for the record. Have a great holliday. see you in 2010. Good luck with your up grades.

Sorting through old magazines, I found this "national ink" about my state-level pulling. This was the from the Dec '91 issue of "The Puller", back when we were under NTPA sanction.

"Really good" is a relative term! LOL It looks good from 100ft!! I will be redoing the car over the winter and making it street legal. The windows are Lexan so I'm replacing the windshield and the doors (so I can roll the windows up and down). Swapping out the fenders, core support and installing an interior.

I got out of the show car stage when I got rid of my old car. Not looking to get back into that but I do want the car to be "presentable" when it goes to the track and I am looking forward to driving up to a light, look over at some Mustang and carrying the wheels when the light turns green! LOL

Brian, with one 15 lb bottle and allen driveing, He weighs arroud 220. On my scales at the house its 3478. Its im sure just like your car very nose heavy. Im sure the swiss cheese coment was made because of the nose being hole sawed up but only saved a mear six pounds. Need a lighter car but derrick and I are finishing our new twin turbo 10.5 camaro that barnaby built for us. We are going to test after the new year, I changed the converter and gear. One one test pass on motor it picked up a good ammount in the sixty and 1/4 mile. I have used this converter before in a larger engine combo and was happy with the slipage so I am confident the outcome on nos will be good. It would be good to see this thing dip into the high teens in the 60 ft. Your a smart guy! Just do the math. Thare is a lot left in this combo. It will do what I want it to, Im pretty sure. Allen has a new combo he has been working on. I have a few things I want to try before we finish that motor to determine head design. How are you making out with your new combo?

How much HP did you make N/A? According to Wallace's calculator you making:

Your HP computed from your vehicle MPH is 1,271.59 flywheel HP
Your HP computed from your vehicle ET is 1,130.41 flywheel HP

Based off your 5.38 @ 133 pass.

What fiberglass do you have on the car? Hood and inner fenderwells?
