Well, another month has gone by since I asked Ron if he would use the 3" collectors on my headers, but still no reply or even an acknowledgment of my existence. Does anyone have any idea if Ron saw my post or got my e-mail, phone call or PM? This is so unreal.

Mikejub, where did you get your Dougs? No backorder?
They must have finally run another batch of Pontiac headers. Nobody could get them for quite a long time.

This was back a year ago in August 2005 when I couldn't wait for these Tri-Ys any longer...called Doug's directly...had them here in a week...coated...fits great...quite happy with them and was able to salvage a little driving time from last year.

You guys were told that orders are being filled 2-3 weeks from placement? How is that possible when some of us have been waiting forever? I paid for mine on Sept. 9, 2005 and have not received them yet!

I E-mailed Ron the other day about pricing and availability on a set of headers for my new engine build, Still haven't heard anything....and after reading this, It'll be COD or Doug's.

After waiting 15 months and hearing mine were going to ship in a week numerous times, I bough a set of Doug's. Great fit, look much better than Ron's and my reverse/steering lockout linkage still works!

Geez......give it a rest already.
You have your DOUGS so there's no use to even post about a product you have no first hand knowledge of.
Wasn't this the same guy who attempted to ruin Ron's credit?
By the same token, Ron offered the option of obtaining them at his house and save the shipping charge.
He HAD your headers but I guess it was easier to whine about it.

It would be nice to see some of Ron's supporters provide a bridge loan so he can properly fund his business. He has a good product, but like any fledgling business with a labor intensive product, he needs to get established before economies of scale kick-in which would turn the corner towards profitability.

I did I have no use for the money right now, and he's making a great product for PONTIACS. He needs all the support he can get. KEEP IT UP RON!

“How do you know that Doug's headers look better than Ron's if you don't own a set of Ron's headers yet. Do you think people are stupid and can't tell that you are a cry baby. Get a life tough guy, if you got a problem with Ron then deal with him direct and knock off your **** about the man. Find something else to do with your time tough guy.”

1. I looked at the photos of the ones he supposedly shipped. 2. I know people are stupid including myself for waiting 15 months & I never cried. 3. Yeah, I guess I am a tough guy when people owe me money, and I would deal with him direct if he ever would answer emails or phone calls. 4. I did find something else to do with my time.

1. Not many people have first hand knowledge of his product. Just trying to warn them about it! 2. I wish I had the power to personally ruin peoples credit but unfortunately that’s up to them. 3. Ron offered to have me pick them up at his house next week for over four months, that makes me whine. Only had my headers ready after I cancelled them.

“You got your money back dude! You charged back your PayPal payment. You got your resolution. Why come back to beat up the guy? Is it because of your deep, abiding concern to see that others don't get inconvenienced for a time and then given a refund when they weren't satisfied? Give me a break!

Doug's make some fine headers and I'm glad that you are happy with them and get to enjoy your car. Now have some class and go away.

John
1. You’ve hit it right on the head. If this was anybody else not delivering product and has had money forever they would be getting hammered in the bad business section of this board. Since nobody wants to post it there I wanted to make sure that anybody getting false hope by a couple of people getting their headers would have all the information before they threw their hard earned money into the black hole know as Tribal Tubes.
2. I hope everybody who has paid for them gets them tomorrow & I hope Ron gets his business together, but I don’t want more people being hung up waiting for a product that from past history will never arrive! I would rather they buy a product and drive their Pontiac's rather than look at a project waiting for a final part for years. That’s what I call class!

Even the Stooges wised up eventually after they got smacked up side the head a few times. Jim

What is the current status on tribal tunes? The web site is down, has he vanished or what? I tried to go to the site and order a set but it my link did not work. I sure am glad I came here to see if there was a new link to him. If he's that far behind it's probably a waste of my time, there is no way I will not wait that long.

Anyone on here ever hear of Kim Lux (diesel guru) ,sounds very familiar with some stuff that happened on a diesel forum a few years back.
