She makes for a nice paper towel dispenser doesn't she

I'm planning to be up there on April 3. I'll be checking out Steve's other projects in the shop too!

Projects are looking good! Pat, how is 'Lucy' looking? Are you trying to make it to the POCI?

That's the hope Tim! Fingers crossed, I'll have the car before POCI, so I can get the interior installed. The guys there at the shop are working hard....lots of blue car there right now! Congrats on your cover car this month!!!! I hope mine can be there some day!

I Made a progress trip to MMR in Lincoln yesterday to see the Adriatic color first hand. It’s a great color for sure, but equally impressive is the quality work Steve and his team are doing on this car. Below are some progress pictures.

There are several Lucerne Blue Cars in Steve's shop now. The '79 TA in the far ground is Lucy blue.

In some of the pictures you can see Tim Burton’s numbers matching, standard bore “Lucy” 4spd and another PY member’s Regatta Blue ’73 455 Formula (in the paint booth).

The first picture here reminds me of the “Highlights” magazine that was in the Dr’s office waiting area when we were kids… The exercise is…. How many birds are in this picture? The second picture is the solution to the puzzle. The third pic is some more of the shop with PB’s car steeling the attention.

Man this is one full nest of birds, and Indian Iron… fittingly… in the Dr’s office getting mended.

Default Happy Birthday Adrian

Yesterday, April 3 was chosen for the visit and what made the day so special is that it was Adrian’s birthday. Yep, 42 years ago on April 3 she shipped from the Norwood plant heading for Friendly Pontiac in Temple Texas, so we threw her a party.

Here we had to make a Code 24 color check on the cake (using only original GM color chips) to be sure it was ok prior to the birthday party.

Thank you Steve and MMR for the great work you are doing on this great car.

And of course, since the interior of Adrian is factory custom blue/white:

That shop is like a mini Norwood plant!

Except for the lone A body and some cvettes.

Nice to see cars making strong comebacks.

Is that the same shop that fixed the 1/4 panel on your Ram IV Judge.

Man, there's straight window cars everywhere! That's a killer shop!

The car looks great. The cake idea is cool. Its funny how some of us know/celebrate the date our cars were "born" on.

Is that a question? If you are asking about my cars. My quarters were applied at the fisher plant. But, thanks for asking. Back to the topic at hand. A beautiful restoration in progress!

Thanks Greg!
