For those playing along at home, I did the JC Taylor online quote and came up with a 1050 premium for my two cars valued at 150k total. AAA was around 600 and Hagerty about 775.

BTW, do you know a Doug from the OC with a '73 T/A? He sent me a few pics of what I'm pretty sure is your car. If I recall, you're from around Thousand Oaks. If you ever get to Cucamonga let me know.

Actually the car was sold new in California and was in the Ventura/Camarillo area until January 1993 when I purchased it. It was driven to the Chicago area and has been in Chicago since then. The Thousand Oaks car must be a different Brewster Green car.

My brother looked at a white 73 SD automatic in Rancho Penasquitos, California (San Diego) in the mid nineties. I thought it might be yours but the one he looked at had a hood bird, chrome valve covers, Ram Air IV cam, and headers I believe. There aren't too many white 73 SD's around either.

Yeah, it's a different car in Ventura. Oddly, it is a no hood bird and has a deluxe cloth interior like yours. My car is a 100 percent Cali car. I'm the 3rd owner here. The first two were in NorCal.

It's three years old now!!! Happy birthday/anniversary.

Oh, and thank you Brewster for starting this mad house

Still wish we had our own forum instead of one GIANT thread, but I guess I'm beating a dead horse again.

Let's keep her on the front page boys

Good luck!

I spoke with Chris at some length about a separate SD heading about 18 months back. Maybe he'll "see the light" now, though.

18 months is quite the extended Pow Wow for them I would think.

Maybe the Chief can render a verdict pretty soon?

That 74 car looks restored to me for having 43k miles on it. Look at the steering wheeling itself, it has painted spokes not anodized, the jack looks like it just got plated....I have a lower mileage car that has been inside climate control garage and drive it or not 35 years old is still 35 years old (give or take +/-).

The best line on his ad is "never driven hard" its a pontiac OK!
