Thank You. After I chose the gold bird, the gold wheels and tan interior was the the natural choice to tie it all together. I miss the days when you had a lot more options to make the car your own.

That would be equally high on the "wtf - meter"
Not a fan of green interiors, but these combos *could* work

I agree that is a very nice looking T/A! I don't usually go for Blue on F-Bodies, but that car is striking!

That is a beautiful car. I've never been a real fan of blue cars in general but, for T/A's it works for me. That color has a different name and it's likely a different color but it obviously ties back in to the 70-72 lucerne blue. Very nice car you have indeed.

I always thought if I bought a 70 T/A it would have a black interior. Now I have one that's got a blue interior and I can't really imagine having anything else. It's just right for that car. Likewise, I always thought theses cars had to have a console. Now I have one without a console and I love the look. No more consoles for me. Go figure.

There were two 70 TAs up for sale very recently, both sold. One had a sandlewood interior, the other was red. Both were recently restored and claimed to be PHS documented.

Thank you for the kind words. Lucerne blue, Martinique blue for 78 and Vibrant blue for 81 are in the same family. Close but a shade or two different. I love them all. For me, the 2nd gen T/A body style in blue is a perfect match. I do like other colors as well.

A white 70 T/A with a blue interior is a good match. I think it compliments and works well with the blue stripes.

I recently saw a 74 T/A without a console... automatic with a column shift. Not too many of those around.

My 68 LeMans has buckets and a column shift. I was really disappointed at first but it’s actually great for a convertible. There is plenty of room for the kids to stand up getting in and out. Amazing how much it opens up the car

In some of the 79 T/A publicity photos they used a Dark Blue car with Gold Decals and Gold Wheels and Camel Hobnail Cloth Interior.

Going with that combo on a brighter shade of blue was a brave move.
looks good too

A friend of mine had a '79 WS6 identical to that.
