What fiberglass do you have on the car? Hood and inner fenderwells?
Just the hood,It has a dry sump system and 0.65 wall stainless headers on the front etc. The car is all thare pluss some. Those numbers up thare should show you someting. We ran that same tune up testing that converter that broke two weeks before and ran a string of mid 8.30s at 165.8 , On motor we went 147mph Converter and gearing will throw you for a loop

Motor made 787 at 6800 rpm. We took two points of static out of it since But still seems to run about the same on nos But now runs more mph and runs cooler. Who knows! you cant measure a pontiac to anything. Best n/a run on motor to date since all the changes, 9.89 at 147 mph on c-16 fuel.

Jack made a point, car does have alexan rear window but does have a full interior. head liner full factory carpet , stock front and rear side panels stock dash less heater assy. Kick panels and 1/2 inch plywood between the mini tubs to replace rear factory seats and foctory package shelf. With all thhat weight savings lets add programable 7 box, race pak and wireing three nos controllers a switch box and about 18 lbs of wireing nos gauges and lines etc. By the post I can kind of see whare this is headed. All the hoopla last year before norwalk and look what hapened. Were 3478 and on one system we could consistantly go 8.30s on 10.5s through the pipes and were happy with that. As like for some others 2010 will be alittle differnt story for us.

Jack when you were down MIR running 30's they car didn't have any interior in it. I could see the hole saw holes in the doors.

When did you get the interior put in the car?

Good luck in 2010, hopefully I will be able to see what a race track looks like next year.

Dude when you run the numbers the MPH is way off from the HP numbers you had on the dyno. So either the dyno you were on was stingy, you're throwing more than one plate at it, or the car is lighter than you say.

Ill be the first to tell you what you prob already know. you all make more power than us but I could care less. You got to put it down. I dont know about all these calculations. Are you measureing by the mph, **** man all I care about is et We have been enough mph to show almost 1300. To me that dosent seem realistic. That tells me I am missing something. We found it If you think its lighter than it is I guess you know more than me. Next year it will be some other sh t I have new angle for this year, were going forward . I dont want to wait for some to play catch up. Ill save that for the fries at 75-80. You and jack should come this summer, Its agood time

Buddy, I like you guys but this is racing. First of all that offer was with your e headed motor. We both know that so lets not start playing dumb. I said I would consider running a big tire car with your new bigger motor because I was suspect to what would happen and sure enough we towed all the way to ohio and what happened. We still went faster with much less in worse conditions. Sunday lil jack only went 8.70s, So you tell me. Still we were on one little kit. So here we sit in late december. You guys build yet another new motor still wanting the same race. Yeah right. Not being mean but you guys were in trouble in august Because We knew what was going to happen, Oh then one better, Remember to the comment Just run what you brung and I said that offer was with your current motor. You guys want a gimmie race. So here is the deal. We have a new package too. Same old low budget junk. You all go down south with Steve Johnson and test all that new latest and greatest and we well test our new package in late feb and we can do that run what you brung **** all you guys want for the same money or whatever Thats whare I stand.
Happy new year to you and your brother better luck in 2010 You guys should have much better luck with George , Hes a good guy.

Only one time out and posted that. Before it became a clusterphucked post. LOL. Haven't really put it all down yet. Haven't had a chance to get out with my new combo only once. If I can get it all together and certain things turn around, I hope to have my Hydraulic roller combo into the 8's with pump gas compression & nitrous next year. But first Balls to the wall........ N/A. LOL.

Jack,

All I'm saying is that something is not adding up. When I say "a plate" I figured I would be mis-spoken. I'm not up on all that NO2 stuff...plate this, jet that, one kit or three kits I can't keep that chit straight! LOL

But the easiest and most accurate way to figure out how much HP someone is making is to use their MPH and weight. You're a smart man...you know that! That's why I said something wasn't adding up and listed those three factors. I can say with my car, that this is the most accurate way to see how much HP I'm making. You can't go by ET because I pull timing out off the hit.

Not trying to pi$$ in your wheaties or nuttin', I'm just bored recovering from my surgery and had time to look into your post. As far as 75-80, I might try and go next year. Kinda hard to drive right past my home track (20 minutes away) and continue to drive another hour and a half. LOL
