Default wt7 option

I was curious about this option and Polar White in general. I know there were 51 optioned wt7 but how many polar white were made in 70? Also anyone know did all the wt7 optioned cars come from the Alington plant? I was told this by the seller.

Good question Sawyer, I never followed the option very closely either. Not that I think it looks bad, I just like the parts color-keyed to the body color better. The black-out sorta looks like an owner installed spray painted pieces in a rush.

Another WT7 question: Since all were built in Arlington, does that indicate they were "pre-built" and sent to dealers rather than being a "special individual ordered" option? (hmmm?)

I have heard several descriptions but surely someone has the specifics nailed down by now. As far as Judge only/ 70 only/ 70 & 71 ?/did they all have hood tach and front spoiler....etc...

My understanding was wt7 was only the flat black spoiler. It was an individual order item. I'm new at this so if anyone has corrected info on this? I had my tach painted flat black, it should really be white and my be going back to white.

Hi Speedking,

Nice Judge. You said way back you had a Peppergreen Judge.......was it mine?
4spd, sold new in Montana, and lived a long time in S. Dakota.

What the hell, longshot question.
Maybe my original block is in your yard.

Thanks
Brent

Flat black spoiler and red BLACK yellow stripes and emblems. Rare option in 70 and rarer in 71 with only 15.

Hi Brent,

The Pepper Green story is long. I doubt it was yours. I sold it to a friend here in town back in 1975. He still has it. I have tried to buy it back for 30 years. I finally gave up and bought this one. However I did buy a 69 gto after the pepper green one. It had a blown motor, when I went looking for another motor I bought the ram air III that was in the pepper green one I sold. I rebuilt it and put it in the 69. Sold the 69 and have no idea where it went. Sorry for the long story.

Im missing something here! How do you know its a WT7 car? Do you have a build sheet? I would think it would be on the PHS. The car has been restored,Correct?

My understanding is that option code RPO 604 is only shown on the build sheet, and not on the PHS. WT7 Judges was a flat black spoiler on white car with black stripes. Urban legend has all the 70's being built in Arlington, and the 15 71's built in Pontiac.

Speedking: Your judge decal on fender looks to be too high which could mean it was restriped. Did you get any documentation of this option?

Sorry if I insinuated that this car was a WT7 car. Like I said I'm rather new at this. Supposedly this car is an unmolested original. I am the fourth owner and the story passed down is that it is a WT7 car (we all know how the stories go). That’s why I’m trying to get more info. I guess I should go searching for the build sheet. Nothing in the PHS documentation indicates WT7. The dealer order form does not indicate nor do I find were a dealer would mark the option? Would you assume that it was a manufacture option and not an option an individual could order? Looking for clues. Here’s a couple other GTO’s of mine.

Another question? Going thru my paperwork from PHS. They sent me a picture of a Polar White Judge with a flat black Spoiler and a black hood tach. Is the pic generic or is it supposed to represent the car they verified?? Also what’s up with the black hood tach? Was that part of the WT7 option?? Just curious for info.

Thats the one.....guess its a generic pic that goes out to all? Guess the black and white shows the best with a black and white pic? My son thought she was hot...even the boots.

That is an awsome color GtoBrian!! The only thing that would make it better for me would be a red interior. I would still take that one off you hands if you want Liberty blue would be another choice and of course White would be the perfect choice for me. There is a white with red interior about 150 miles from me but man................$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for me! If that rich bastage Buffet would just funnel a small amount to my charity I could buy it.
