Super job!

Default shocks

Did you fill in the pitting on the shocks or are those repops?

I assume the rear had some pitting that was filled in?

p.s. - Beautiful work, I wish my Dad (or I) had founded wal-mart or something.

Thanks!

Those are all the original shocks. I wanted to save them because they are date coded and stamped with "DELCO CANADA".......so they are pretty much non-existant.

Yes we had to fill in some pitting on the axle tubes.

Thanks for all the nice comments guys!

Here is the bottom of the hood and the inside of the doors and trunk lid now in new Polar White paint. The bottom of the hood was first painted with black primer and then oversprayed in the factory pattern underneath......

Here is the restored original Hurst shifter, with re-chromed shaft and restored t-handle:

And a nice "before and after" comparison of the bottom of the hood:

Hi Jason,

Now I get to watch your incredible work on 2 sites.

What type of paint and color do you use on your driveshafts and is there anything similar in spray can? I have one that is about ready for paint and I am not sure.

Thanks in advance,
Richie

Thanks Richie!

I custom mix all my paints, but you should be able to find a silver spray paint that is a pretty close match to bare steel that you can use.

Here is a video showing the hood up nice and close with the DuPont ChromaOne acrylic urethane single stage paint. The paint on this car is turning out flawless. I can't wait to put the decals on it to really set it off.

Click on the picture for the video:

And the trunk lid all buffed out and mounted on the car.....

Thanks for all the kind words everyone!

Here's the Judge wearing it's special WT7-optioned black spoiler and red/black/yellow decals. Gotta love those reflective shots!
