The norm is trying to duplicate what was there when the car is being prep'd and thus the reason for pictures, pictures, pictures.....
You could have him tape above 4-6" blast some more red oxide let it dry and then hit it with the black and feather in the top. Overspray the bottom line and call it done?
Others might have a better option since Im not a painting expert ?

Very nice - Brewster .

Thanks,
It's a hard time keeping a car mint and the worst part about it is not traveling over 5 mph. The car is running like crap and falling on itself and I think its time to run it for 5-10 miles and blow some smoke. Thinking after the POCI judging is the right time, hope to see you at the show?
I'm bringing the white cooler for cold refreshments and hope we can have a PY party some where ? This needs its own thread which I thought about posting but have no clue on location, location, location???????..........

Just what you need, another trailer queen!

Been tweaking on mine trying to get her ready for POCI. Probably won't see the light of day until then. Lot's of little things you know!

Brad is supposed to be coming. Not sure about John. Don't see him very often. He's going thru a lot right now on the home front. I would suspect not, but you never know.

Well, Put SDD's SD carb on the old 400 today. I pulled the coil wire turned it over for around 30 seconds to get the oil flowing and fill the carb with 'High Test". Put the wire back on pumped the peddle a couple of times and VAROOOMMMM started right up. I let it idle up to temp and shut it off. I'm ready to take it out now, I can feel the SD power even at idle, I bet it is over 400hp now.

Norwwod, Now that you have 400Hp +, You will have the pleasure of watching the gas gauge needle drop at an alarming rate. I get about 7-9 MPG with those carbs, but I do drive my cars and NEVER floor it...........just ask Duane

It's amazing how much fuel you can go through. Just a few laps around the block and I'm off to the gas station. God forbid you floor it. The carb automatically siphons money from your wallet.

It was 142 not 140. that's 2 higher. Hair loss is at 135. 142 cleans the back of the head.
