Stranger things have happened.
Late afternoon race at a midwestern track, NASCAR has one of their French guy cautions, everyone except Danica pits, rain starts they call it quickly giving her the win. Of course she would have to be on the lead lap, car still running, but it could happen.

Alltel used to sponsor Ryan Newman with Penske and Cingular used to sponsor Jeff Burton with Childress. For Verizon and AT&T - that was a bad deal. For Sprint - they should have used those millions of $$$ to build a better network. It didn't take NASCAR long to replace Nationwide as the sponsor for the lower series. And Nationwide only dropped that sponsorship so they could devote more time and money to Dale Jr. If you have a good product - a NASCAR sponsorship makes you money! |
