I think Larry noted in post 12 that the light gauge metal tags that are attached to the carbs with screws were the only way to date the carbs. My tags are missing and I couldn't find any other stamps or markings other than the names cast in.

I hope that's helpful.

I think there is a date code on the manifold somewhere. The easiest way to tell the year of manifold is by the casting number on top of the manifold.
